It’s been quite a while since I introduced myself so I figured I’d pop in and say hello 🫶🏼 my name is Trinity, I am a traveling portrait + elopement photographer based in Kansas City, Missouri!

Some fun facts about me:
-I love reading, plant shopping + exploring new coffee shops with my fiancé when I’m not taking photos
-I get to marry the love of my life in 2025 (we’ve been together almost 10 years!)
-I’m kind of a goofball…😂 but that helps my clients get comfortable in front of my camera 📷
-I started shooting portraits when I was 15, I’m 23 now
-I originally planned on going to college for graphic design but a former teacher encouraged me to try photographing portraits + I am so thankful for that
-if I could own all the dogs in the world, I would. But for now I have my baby Bella. She just turned 3 and she is my (only) furry child. 😍
-I am a little too obsessed with tacos. I could eat them every day for the rest of my life, no lie.

I love what I do and the people I work with. I wouldn’t trade this job for the world. Doing what I love every day is such a blessing!

Senior photos to fit your style ❤️📸

I often see photographers pulling up other peoples work to show their clients- if that works for you, great!
I’ve found that clearly communicating helps create a better overall experience for my models and reassures them that they’re doing a great job. Not everyone is comfortable in front of a camera right off the bat so it’s nice to provide some instruction. 📸 here are some of my suggestions for a successful photoshoot:

1. GUIDE them with posing
This sounds pretty straightforward but it is SO important to do this in a way that makes sense to your model. Being a visual person myself, I usually like to give a demonstration of the pose. Give them fun prompts to get their mind off of the camera! Find ways to get their personality to shine.

2. HYPE THEM UP!! 👏🏻
Ask any of my friends or past clients…I will be your biggest hype woman, ALWAYS. If you fail to communicate with your model that they’re doing a great job, it can be uncomfortable for them.

3. Pay attention to the details
If you see that their hair could be fixed or their wardrobe could be adjusted, say something. There’s nothing worse than shooting a whole session, sitting down to edit, and realizing you forgot that one little thing that you now have to edit out of every photo. Slow down, talk with them, and with their consent, help them.

When your senior photos are an actual dream come true…😍 I feel so honored when family asks me to take their photos. Kaylee is my cousin + I have loved documenting her senior year.
